Did you know Hillary Clinton was the one who came up with the phrase "Women's Rights Are Human Rights" back in 1995? I didn't!

Why You Should Read Romance: because the romance genre and all it's sub-genres generally prioritises not only female desire, but also female goals.

Junkee: Sydney Boys' High School prefects use their privilege to echo women's voices on Why Feminism Is Important To Them.

Might have been more effective if the boys spoke about why feminism was important to them, personally, but amplifying women's voices is a start.

Also worth noting: Sydney Boys' High is a selective school - entrance exams, high intelligence/intellectuality. As such, it has a large non-white population, who would also experience racial discrimination and prejudice as part and parcel of their presence in Australia, whether born in Australia or born overseas. Consequently, these boys have more ability to perceive injustice than, say, The Kings School - a non-selective, private (tens of thousands of dollars in fees per year) school where there are more white males with money and privilege and ignorance.

ABC: Is The Church Culture Of Shame Promoting Abortion? Considers more to the situation than just "life good, killing babies bad", and contemplates changing the culture around motherhood rather than criminalising abortion.

Sarah Bessey: A Christian and a Feminist and not quite fitting either

TOR: Nevertheless, She Persisted - an anthology of works about women aiming for things beyond their reach.
