I spent two hours trying to get the documentation for my tax returns for 2019-2020 done (yes, I am that late). And then I got confused about whether they were asking for the tax return due in 2020 or 2021.
I think I've sent the right stuff. If not, well, there's going to be some rather extensive files in my accountant's inbox come Monday morning. They're either going to love me or hate me.

Watched Bridgerton 2.04 and 2.05
I'm generally enjoying but going to be a little disappointed that my favourite two scenes from the book will be Sir Not Appearing In This Series, to use a Pythonism: the scene of the storm in the library and the wedding night scene when Kate doesn't believe Anthony is calling her beautiful but imagining someone else in his head.
I was hoping for those scenes - I think they would have been beautifully powerful ones for the intimacy between the characters, but no cigar.
As
rmc28 has pointed out this is The Season Where Nobody Talks To Anyone Else About Important Things.
re: chemistry. There was a lot of [breathing] in these episodes. The subtitles said so!
I was more than a little surprised that they actually had Anthony acknowledge the issue about his desire for Kate after the disastrous dinner with the Sheffields.
Also, I felt every Indian/desi friend I've ever had wince as Lady Sheffield laid into Lady Mary Sharma about her ungratefulness to her parents. That was a vicious scene. Although, intriguing to see Anthony Stewart Head; haven't spotted him since Merlin days, although I imagine he's been keeping busy. Lady Sheffield also looked familiar in the usual "oh, yes, that British actor" kind of way.
rmc28 was the one who pointed out the Eliza/Hamilton/Angelica triangle, and Kate's sacrifice at the end of 2.05 certainly has that echo of "I love my sister more than anyone in my life, I will choose her happiness over mine every time!"
Interestingly, the triangle I was thinking of came more from Mercedes Lackey's Five Hundred Kingdoms series: depicted most clearly in The Snow Queen where the Snow Queen had a twin sister who married a prince who was more personality-and-intelligence compatible with the Snow Queen and it caused her a lot of jealousy and angst before she moved away and shut her heart away.
I'd write more about Eloise and Theo, or Colin and Marina and Lord Crane, but...
...my cats are apparently waiting outside my study, facing the west (the orientation of the study door), and my sister is singing 'The Last Post', while making ridiculous references to turning faces to Mecca.
We're going to finish watching the season during my mornings this week so we aren't in suspense for so long.
