Y HELO THAR BSG!!

Honestly, I stopped watching BSG back around, um 3.04. Once they got off New Caprica. (Is that still a spoiler?)

But the promos are so damn pretty, I may just have to get back into the show again!

Anders became a pilot? When did that happen? (Don't tell me, I'll watch Season Three, it's just an exclamation of "WHAT?") And what's with Lee and the suit? Not that Jamie Bamber doesn't look hot in it. Or in a flightsuit. Or in a towel. Or out of a towel.

It's just that it looks like he's modelling for Hugo Boss. Or some Italian fashion house where the suit would set you back a cool $8,000 or some ridiculous figure. Still damn pretty, though.

Speaking of towelling what the hell is Baltar doing in a bathrobe? Has he become the Hugh Hefner of the fleet? Not that it's exactly surprising, given his proclivities. Still...bathrobe Baltar, WTF?

I've found only one pic with Dee in it. Hm. Not sure what to make of that. I liked the bits and pieces we saw of her, but I guess she's not too main anymore.

Sharon and Helo! \o/

Honestly, though, what is with Anders? He's gone all (former) Lee Adama in the flightsuit (S2 promos), while Lee's gone on with the corporate shark look.

This interest will probably go nowhere, though. My brain is conceptually et by the SGA bunnies. They've got, like, hyperdrives that zoom them over to a new patch of brain clover as soon as anything pops up and then they chow down. They're the replicators of my creative fields - they chew up all the resources, hog all the processing power, and when I protest, they just keep nibbling away: NOM NOM NOM.

er...I can't really answer those questions without spoiling you. You've still got a month and a bit to catch season three...I would recommend it.

Won't spoil you. But I'll just say when I saw the Anders' pic I immediately thought "Lee wanna-be!"

oo! I got one episode on you in season 3! The boy and I are waiting for it to come on DVD. We don't have time to watch it when it is actually on during the season. Season 4 starts in the US in April... and it is also the last season.

By the middle of season 3, Kara had gotten incredibly annoying. (Yes, we know she has issues already. We got that the last episode. And the episode before that. And the episode before that ....) Don't get me wrong, there's good stuff in there, just be prepared to hate Kara for a while. You may decide it's not worth it to watch, and just grab episode summaries to prepare you for the next season (that's what I did).

But oh, my stars and garters, you frakking have to watch the last episode of the season, Crossroads II. Just for the last ten minutes.

. . . is for me possibly the most annoying female character on television today. Without going into detail, watching her makes me feel like the writers got into my head, found out everything I hate about people and then put them all into one character - and left out that single redeeming feature, that one thing that would make me say "Give the girl a break, stacy2002, she's just a girl with problems, back off, man".

Yes, I stopped watching BSG because of Kara. I loathe her AS A PERSON. It is good writing and even better acting that I have such a visceral reaction to the character, but my doctor says I'm supposed to avoid stressful situations. What with my powerful hate, my contempt for Lee and the general distress the darkly dark darkness of the tale causes, I decided that the news was more cheerful.

But Kara - if she was my coworker or a family member or my neighbour or friend from University or a stranger in a bar, I would feel like setting her on fire. Yes, it is that powerful.

Can't answer properly without spoilering you, but about Lee's suit it totally feels like he's imitating a character who turned up late Season 3, not that that'll make sense to you until you watch that. I'm just left wondering if it's symbolic of that and what's going on in his headspace.

You know I'll probably watch when it comes back just because there's hardly anything else on TV these days, but I wasn't really happy with the way Lee's character went (has something to do with the suit) and the idea of Sam becoming a pilot all of a sudden... eh. Lee wanna-be indeed. The thing that makes me excited is that adorkable promo of Roslin and Adama. They are so cute! Hee!
