Not as enjoyable as 'Search And Rescue', perhaps, but okay. :)

Teyla and the baby that won't sleep talking to Keller. Well, I guess that's Teyla's appearance in the episode...

Arrival of Woolsey - interesting choice of fmusic. Love that Rodney stands up last. And it's straight into business.

Rodney is so funny/cute to Keller. Mainland? This planet also has a mainland? Why not an archipelago for once?

You know, I rather like Woolsey's bloodlessness at this stage. He's bureaucrat, not a not a leader, he deals with numbers and paperwork, not names and people. Sam's learned to be beyond a scientist,

So far? I'm rather pleased by the fact that John's the one overseeing people, but Teyla's the one who drives the action - including roping in Rodney to open Jennifer's door, getting Carson to step away, and letting John know the situation.

Heh. Woolsey has some neat lines: Carson medicobabbles and Woolsey comes back with, "For the uninitiated?"

Okay, I love that Radek is halfway between horrified and thrilled at what's going on. And that Teyla is taking military command over the marines. And that she and Radek have scenes together!

Although they shouldn't be separating! SEPARATING IS BADNESS!

Radek *thinks* he has something? It's quite obvious he has something. And now I have visions of Species, and the pod things.

NOOO! RADEK!

I hope Ronon gets to fix the solution. I really hope he gets to do it.

"Nothing out of the ordinary then." Oh, I've missed Carson. He knows Rodney.

*watches the rest of the episode*

You know, part of me was hoping that Teyla would get to show of her Wraith Mind-Control Trick of Awesome and go up against the Seed Hiveship. But clearly John must save the day.

"Welcome to the Pegasus galaxy."

Overall, the ep had its moments. Although, yet again, it's a female character that's the victim. And Sheppard saves the day over Ronon. That must be in JF's contract, you know? "Must Save The Day In Every Episode." And whatshername is whinging that TPTB don't love Joe F or Sheppard because he doesn't get any character episodes. That is complete barmy twerpshit, my dear, and absolute twaddle. TPTB may not love Joe F or Sheppard the way you do, but there can be no doubt that he's their favourite character to save the day and show up everyone else.

And there'd better be more Teyla in the next episode to make up for her absence in the last twenty minutes.

It wasn't as good as the season opener but it seems like the second episodes are often fillers - entertaining but not really all that brilliant.

I was happy to know that Kanaan didn't just randomly disappear (which was one of my few qualms with the premiere). Although it does put a tiny damper on my shipper hopes. :) I have to wonder what TPTB are gonna do with the relationship b/w Teyla & Kanaan...hmmm....

Maybe TPTB are trying to get over their hero dependency one person at a time. :D They kinda phased out Rodney, and only John was there (with a healthy dose of Ronon) to save the day. Maybe next week we can have Teyla saving the day, or even someone random, like Chuck. :D It never hurts to dream.

You just know that if Teyla had been the one to go in there she would've gotten out w/o being skewered. :D
