So, the NRA tried to suborn the Australian Racists&Rednecks Party (not their real name) to the tune of $20 million in political donations, when even the Aussie Racists&Rednecks Party leaders are all "you know, Australian gun laws are pretty good, considering the white supremacist we totes didn't encourage with our rhetoric went to NZ where the gun laws are less restrictive and shot up that mosque (but it's totes not our fault that he did)".
They were caught on camera by Al Jazheera, which, of course, put all the Racists&Rednecks immediately On Alert ("HOMG THEY JUST HATE US FOR OUR FREEEEEOOOOMSSSS AND ARE TRYING TO TURN US INTO AN ISLAMIC STATE AND TAKE AWAY YOUR BEER") and yet our PM who has considerably less spine than he has dick (and his spine spends considerably more time flaccid than his dick would) still refuses to preference them last in the upcoming federal election.
Their excuse? They went on the piss and were drunk. Because 'drunk' is the get-out-of-jail-free card for doing anything stupid or infuriating or just plain wrong.
Those two paragraphs probably didn't make any sense to anyone who isn't Australian or doesn't follow Australian news. That's okay. I just needed to rant.

I hear the EU Directive Thingy where they're cutting down on anything that might infringe copyright (including, say, a snatch of copyrighted music in the background of the video of your baby crawling around) has passed.
Also that the Mueller report is not actually being released, but that it also didn't find any explicit collusion (but they're not gonna release it).
*grimface* all around.
