So, that post I made yesterday about the gardening FB group which veered sharply into antivaxxer territory (lots of advice aboutblack salve and herbal remedies for a splinter that's been in for several weeks now, instead of "GET THEE TO A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL" like you'd expect here in Australia)?

It's gone. Vanished like it never existed.

The trainwrecky part of me wanted to see the epic battle that would result between those of us who are on the 'look, granny remedy it to begin with - obvs reasonably - but once things get dire, go to the GP before they have to wheel you into Emergency with blood poisonong' bandwagon, and those who are 'ALL MEDICINE IS EVIL AND YOU CAN CURE CANCER WITH PRAYER OUR SPECIAL HERBAL SUPPLEMENTS WHICH ARE BACKED UP BY ANECDATA'.

And I don't know if the mod took it down, or if the OP realised that she'd kicked the giant hornet's nest of the continuum between medical and granny remedy, but it's definitely gone...
