B1 and B2 were watching Ocean's 8 on Friday (Saturday?) night. B2 loves the Ocean's 11 series, and we're all feminists around here, so we loved the idea of Ocean's 8.
Anyway, apparently B1 spent most of the movie looking up this person and that person. And then started looking into Richard Armitage's filmography.
Today, she's watching North and South...
I laughed and laughed and laughed, because I've been here before back when the BBC Robin Hood was briefly a thing, and many people on my flist had a thing for Richard Armitage. Also, The Hobbit. (I never saw Pt 2 or Pt 3...was there a Pt 3?)
And this has just reminded me: my favourite Robin Hood story - that I can remember - is the novel Lady of the Forest by Jennifer Roberson, back in the early 90s, and I'm trying to recall the sequence of events.
