So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about, or something you've always been curious about but have never asked, or something completely silly that you'd like me to answer for kicks. No limits on the range of questions, either: ask me anything you want to know about, whether it's a fannish opinion or a question about a fic of mine or trivia about my real life or my thoughts on events in the offline world.

So if I were going by myself, probably Europe, where I could meet people and socialise before retreating at the end of the day to my own space.
If I were going with one or two friends, then Mali, where we could sit around on perfect waters, read books, surf the net, and chat only when we wanted.
In a larger group, probably hire a house in a bustling city with plenty to do, but also spaces where you don't have to do anything - ie. gardens or galleries or even just a houes with a giant lounging space and a pool so some of us can go off and do things and others can be all "i cannot even, wake me up when it's lunch".
If I could collect All My Peeps from across the world, in their many and varied away, cost no problem, I would book a cruise ship to take us all over the world. And there'd be service if we wanted, and if we didn't then the crew would be paid anyway to look after us and we could cook and eat and chat and do what we wanted when we wanted and as we wanted all over the world...
For me, part of a vacation/travelling is not just the going, but the seeing and the doing, and it's not just the seeing and doing but the people you're sharing that with. So I do think I'd like a place such as Mali for a day or so by myself, but then I'd want people to talk to - to share that with, if only over dinner once a day.

So mostly, it's just a regular pillow, medium puffy. Although if I'm having neck problems, a lot of the time I don't bother with a pillow at all and just sleep flat on my back on the mattress. (My body doesn't like it, though; it likes sleeping on its side.)

Perhaps the saddest thing about Mali is that ten, even five years ago, I wouldn't have thought twice about it, whereas now it's the knowing about everything that makes going tricky in a moral sense (at least in my head).

I know I liked the look of her the first time, but I remember coming out of the second watching definitely thinking, "That Maria Hill; I like what she does - I like that she does the hard yards, that she's not just giving in because the Avengers are big and important and because they're saving the world. That she's questioning Fury's judgement, and even if it's not In Yo' Face, out-there feminist behaviour, it's the quiet and subtle pushback that I love to see in a female character.
