Story is 10K, with only four characters having given their complete POVs.
Clint has held back - he's waiting to see how Rhodey, Tony, and Pepper's sections play out. That's going to be pretty tricksy, actually, since I have to balance the plot exposition with the history revelations and the nuances of character interaction.
It gives me a headache just to think about it.
After that, we start playing with tin tacks. Thor sleeping on Jane's couch (to Erik's worry and Darcy's amusement) is pretty straightforward. Darcy's gossipy conversation with Maria should be easy. Bruce is going to be difficult, though - I find him a tricksy character to write, and his condition is going to be complicated. Plus the circumstances in which he turns up. And then there's Steve, who's going to be horrendous with the backstory. And the quietly stoic angst.
Maria's finishing touch should make it a full thirteen sections: a First Circle and their Queen. As Fren commented: it's always nice when there's symbolic framing in a fic!
