writing plans for the rest of the year

I'm presently signed up for these exchanges:

- avengersfest - early Nov (my assignment asked for a) slash, b) Steve/Darcy, c) the girls. So, yeah, I think I'm writing the girls for this one. :P It may turn out to be like madjm's request though - the character completely not mentioned was the central character)
- sga_santa - early Dec (haven't received an assignment yet; kind of dreading it, actually)
- pentapus's Reverse Treehouse Bigbang

And I've said I'd write something for these:
- nextgenbigbang - 20K due early Dec
- kink_bingo - end of October

I've decided to participate in NaNo '12, and I'm going to write the sequel to Give A Girl A Moment for it. I have an original fiction idea that needs a bit of fleshing out, but I figure my time in Avengers fandom is limited by the lack of Maria in any of the upcoming movies and the development of Steve/Sharon Carter in Cap2, and so I'll get the novel-length Avengers story out now - if I can.

And then there's yuletide and fandom_stocking and all the usual madness of this time of year.

last words

The last scene of the story was going to be a party scene. And then I tried to balance all the characters and interactions and gave up in hopeless dismay. It would have been a good 5K if I'd gone through all the conversations and confrontations I wanted to.

So the final scene is a lot quieter and subdued. More reflective, less snappy. Although I'm going to miss the snarky dialogue between Maria and Tony.
