It turned out a pretty good weekend.
Yesterday, my bit of work for the go-live was pretty much done by 10am, which was nice. My longarm quilter returned my stepbrother's quilt, and I passed a new one over to her. I dropped off some fabric, started some more cinnamon scrolls, and sewed the binding onto the quilt ready to finish it off. I got a COVID test and might have watched some Olympics in there? IDK. It's all a blur.
Today, I got the COVID test results (negative again), wrote 1000 words, listened to a church sermon, moved the chooks to the asparagus beds, planted out the chinese cabbages and half the rhubarb, watched Australia beat the Netherlands in Men's Hockey while chatting with women from my hockey club, finished making the cinnamon scrolls, iced them, delivered about 3/4 of the scrolls to friends.
And my period turned up.
I guess it's no wonder I'm tired and a little nauseous.
