The Cross And The Machine: a story about the loss of faith and finding it again, about coming back to beginnings.

the illusion of choice in our food: Pantsuit Politics did an episode about how the supply chain is screwed, and I haven't yet listened to it and I need to. Giving away/swapping a bunch of seedlings out to various people through the neighbourhood and beyond. At least one wants to have a chat over the fence for five minutes! It's good to make connections in the area.

I am hoping for some small potatoes by Christmas. And I need to do something about the sweet potato that's growing everywhere but not actually producing roots.

Oh, and the stone fruit is starting to ripen. Noice. There's gonna be a bit of canning this year, I think.
