My shoulders are peeling from the sunburn I got the Sunday before last. But there's a nice tan underneath!
The war against the bugs has begun. I bought a kg of diatomaceous earth and have been liberally applying it yesterday. It'll need another dusting every couple of days for a bit yet. And in the meantime, I have to work out what I'm going to put on the new shelving I got. (Fancy shelving, super fancy.)
I am really frustrated by the state of Australian politics, and the...shall we say insularity and inability of certain groups to see beyond their own rights. I guess that's the story of politics, but it feels so...selfish.
At my church growth group, I sometimes wonder if I chatter on as badly as one or two of the people who aren't particularly fond of silence. They're good people, they just...can't do silence after a question.
I got Actual Stuff done at work yesterday. I felt snail-slow, but it was boring stuff and my brain kept wandering off elsewhere. Today? Well, that's been more tricksy. A bit of stopping and starting and distractable brain and general all-around tiredness.
Oh, and I forgot my password for a reference system I need to check, and it's not allowing me to reset it. *grr*
Plus, I'm really kind of exhausted.
