According to the vet Carambah is disgustingly healthy and fine. So it might just have been a problem with little Chouquette. That makes me feel a bit better at least. It wasn't something we did, just something she was. And we gave her a really good life in the meantime.
The chooks are missing her. We found them standing around looking a bit confused, as though trying to work out where Chouquette was. At one point, B1 played a video of Chouquette making noise, and Carambah answered her and started looking around for where her friend was! *sigh*
I'm telling myself they're chickens and it's not a big deal.

Monday morning, I logged in...or tried to. Couldn't. It took two hours for me to work out what the problem was - my new phone update had rejigged my notifications, and the authentication app that was waiting for me to send the okay to log me in wasn't coming in with notifications.
Work has been...semi-productive. Supervisor/manager is still not impressing me. At one point, he replicated the work I'd been doing for the previous three hours, and then sent me a message asking what I was doing about it! After assigning me the work on Friday! Mate, if you want me to do the work, leave me to do the work, don't make out like you don't trust me.
I worked out the issue, fixed it, and emailed everyone involved - including the businessperson, who I've worked with before and knows my competence. But GRARGH.
This ticket I'm currently looking at involves log records nearly a month ago. If they'd given this to me sooner, I might have found them easier. But I've worked it out now. *shakes head*

I had an awful time waking up on both Monday and Tuesday - it was like dragging myself out of a mire. It was a bit better this morning. I think the hot-and-humid weather just drains me, like a high-energy app.
As it is, today I'm pretty tired, too.

Making a 'banoffee cake' for bible study which starts back tonight. Never done this before, we'll see how it all pans out.
So I'm mostly sticking with the same people from last year, a few newbies, but other than one person the...shall I say...'comfortable' people? from last year's group have switched over to a Tuesday night which I can't make. Luckily, the one person has some really good ability to ask questions and get into nuanced spaces, and I think she was kind of glad that I was in the group, too!
