I finished the damn thing. I hate it, but I finished it.

And, of course, true to form, the muse comes back as soon as I've laboured out the last line of the story...with 2000 words of another angle I could have taken five days ago if she'd only co-operated.

Argh.

Yes, I got it done.

But I'm now convinced that my receipt story won't be John/Teyla and I'll be grumpy with it, because there won't be a single John/Teyla story in the sga_santa challenge and I wanted at least one. Bonus points for it being in-character and well-written.
