team_sga is having it's annual Team AU fest in May!The premise is simple: sign up to post a story based on one of the AU prompts listed in the post on a specified day in May! While last year's Team AU fest was completely off-the-grid, out-the-window, up-in-the-air, crackerrific AU, this year they've extended the definition: canon AUs are listed as well - and there are some really good prompts out there (not just the ones left by me, mind).
If you can't write a story of at least 1000 words, there's also a Mini-fest on the 1st May: anything 'celebratory' from 250 words and up, choose a prompt or make up your own!
The only thing that's changed this year is that the stories must either be OT4 or gen. It's about the team, and so they're not accepting any relationships, unless it's the team in a foursome.

I went and read down the list anyway. Made it all the way down to #100. *continues glaring at muse* Now I cannot stop thinking about Teyla as "The New Barbie," complete with her own weekly series. Promises were made but have not been kept--nothing has changed from the 'Old Barbie' concept and Teyla is NOT a happy camper! She is *so* ready to bail. John is her "New Ken" but he's sick of having to go and rescue Teyla (and save the world) every week. All he wants is to just go hang at the beach and be Surfer!Dude...
