GABIT: Meet The Man - August 2010

I've asked the big boss and I can stretch three days of leave for MTM. So I can make the Cocktail Party. Now the issues shrink down to:

a) will the organisers let me keep my Cocktail Party ticket?

b) where to stay? (stef94? sjhw_tolerance? What are you guys doing?)

c) who's up for my birthday party on Friday 6th? :D

Siobhan, Denise and I are staying at the Granville Best Western or something along those lines. Laurajo is staying at the nearby hostel, which is fairly reasonable and nice. Not sure about Stef since her plans just seemed to finalize today.

I was thinking the hostel might be an option for me, too. I'll try to get to Stef about what's happening.

The hostel was quite reasonable, clean and nice. Stef stayed there the last time we were in Van. And you bet we're on for your birthday...is that the night of the Duct Tape Ball? ;-)

Friday night is the 6th, I think. I believe the Duct Tape Ball is the Saturday....

Hmm...I see cupcakes in our future. I wonder if Lisa remembers the location of the cupcake store??
