SUMMARY: Camelot Territory has had no Queen since Igraine died in a power struggle between her husband, Prince Uthyr, and the Black Widow Priestess Nimueh. For twenty years, a male council has ruled the Territory, led by Prince Uthyr, unwilling to trust any witch with a claim to power.

Now, a new generation is coming to maturity - among them, Uthyr's son, the Warlord Prince Arthur. And with the arrival of a young man from one of the outlying villages, a young Queen is about to come into power in Camelot.

I have read and I have loved. It so surpasses expectations, lady. It really is a rather seamless fusion, which is a huge deal since these universes are so fundamentally different in terms of female/male dynamics and power balance. It makes so much sense, the lot of it, the characters, the narrative, the way you fitted the episode's plot into your own story line making it even better in the process.

It's all just generally fantastic. I'm kinda blushing with all the gushing going on in this comment... but it's a well-earned blush.

I'd been waiting for this fic, and now I have renewed hopes for the next installments (a quartet! how awesome!) ::sits on hands::

I know I haven't contacted you about the story for ladiesbigbang, but I haven't even started it!

At this point, it's looking a little wobbly, thanks to a push-back for another date, and work being insanest of insane. I'm hoping to get it done in one or two weekends, writing like crazy. Hopefully.
