I'll give you Sokovia, Suburbia, and the Senate:
Esther looked over at him, her ponytail lashing with the movement. “Your mom died when you were young, didn’t she?”
“When I was about the twins’ age. But I didn’t have family.”
“You had Bucky instead.”
That little guy who wouldn’t give up? I’m following him.
“Yeah,” said Steve as they slowed down coming into the driveway. “I did.”
“Is it weird seeing him carry your shield?”
“A little,” he admitted, then thought of sitting out beneath the crisp starlight, with Bucky staring down at his hands – human and metal – the two sides of himself: human soldier and inhuman assassin. Natalia talked about paying off a debt. But I can’t undo what I’ve done. “But if I had to put the shield down, I’m glad he was the one to pick it up.”

My beta said it got angsty really fast. I guess I don't think of this as angst...
Anyone who wants to do this can - I think most of my active f-list have been tagged, and I'm not sure I have 7 people left out of those who haven't! (Or else they wouldn't play this meme anyway.)
