There’s a prompt in a prompt comm - Avengers, Any, And Then There Were Ten - and my brain wants to write this as the sequel to And Baby Makes Eight with the summary: "The curious story of how Maria Hill’s daughter brought in the Winter Soldier."

I've had this idea for about a year now. Do I have the time or anything more than the summary and the opening scene? Nope. Nope, I don't.

So this is going to stay just an idea.

At this point, it's a no, I'm afraid! Should have been written last year if it was going to go anywhere...

I hate those little fic gremlins. For me, when I get something like that, it's interesting and complex enough to take up ficcish brain space, but not enough so to actually be worth writing because it won't go anywhere.

Yeah, that exactly. And I have LOTS of these little bits lying about. They might become full-fledged stories, but it's not likely.

Still, even years later, I read them through and think "that was a really good idea" but simply can't put it into something coherent...
