one week to Marvel Bang excerpts

So, seeingcolorcomm threw me off-balance with the timing - a fic I thought would be easy turned out more difficult. I ended up rewriting it entirely, and then took on a PH.

I have rarepairfest and the story is half-written, the other half of which is still a little fuzzy. I kind of have an ending but...

There was the next story in the neighbours AU, the next chapter in the Bucky/Sam fic, and the 2nd half of Maria & Pepper Pacific Rim AU.

And then I have marvel_bang, a minimum of 8K of which is due in a week. Which, yes, I can do 8K in a day when the characters aren't stalling me. The plot is all laid out, but the actual words are eluding me.

Plus, the physical issues are beginning to aggravate again.

I may need word wars. Encouragement. And a bit more sleep would certainly be nice, even if I've worked out how to 'drift off' once I wake up after about 5 hours of sleep.

Also: looks like I might have next work from next week. Or possibly the week after, if we can get anyone to actually sign on the dotted line...

I guess I've also been a little distracted: my quilt group is putting a quilt into the show next year - it's a medallion quilt, and I'm the one doing the centrepiece.

It's just painstaking.

I have a pinch hit in one of the above, and need to work on it too, so would be interested in word wars at some point.

Oh that's gorgeous! I love compass stars - have never done one, though it is on my list of Things I Would Quilt If I Had More Time and Needed Less Sleep.
