So, there aren't so many Steve/Maria fics about (particularly ones that aren't written by me and which are actually focused on the relationship between them) that when I find a good one, I don't rec it.

DizzyDrea, and it's her sequel to "I'll Be Seeing You". Both are wonderful stories, a good 15K each, and a solid read - characterisation, drama, relationship, and side characters. It helps to read "I'll Be Seeing You" first, of course.

And the long-awaited (by me) Natasha-centric story "I Came To Thrive" from the "Get Ready For It" MCU Hockeyverse story byPhilyra came out last week!
Now I just have to pester her for the post-Olympics story of how Maria and Steve actually hook up and manage their relationship in the course of the competition and the face of the media...
