writing burn

I'm on a writing burn for anything that has a deadline and isn't action-adventure.

My action-adventure/gen plotbunnies are bouncing up and down with their floppy ears waving, squeaking, "Me! Me! Write me!" Problem is, right now I'm having trouble writing anything except the short stuff - most of it porn.

I really, really, really want to get those action-bunnies out in their cute little BDUs, with their bunny-sized P-90s, running around and causing all kinds of mayhem and trouble in the Stargate Universe. But every time I try, I get about 100 words out and everything fails. I know what I have to get to, but I can't seem to push through to get there. This has been the case for about a month now, and it's frustrating the living heck out of me, dammit!

*sigh* Time for bed.

This is a better link for To Serve A Queen - it's the 'master post' for the story.

And I'd rather this were the link for 'Wrong Kind Of Guy'.

I think the warnings are correct. I don't know whether you'd indicate that Sheppard/Teyla is background in 'To Serve A Queen', or whether it would make a difference to people.
