I always feel a little bad when a note from ff.net tells me that someone has subscribed/followed one of my stories. Particularly the ones from old fandoms - Merlin, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG1, and so forth.

I'm glad that you liked the story enough to want to see more, but...yeah, nope. Sorry. You'll be waiting a LONG time for that...

I know this feeling so well.

It me with Supernatural. Especially the ones on ff.n: Most of my SPN is later than that and on AO3! But I rarely have the cope to PM saying "more thisaway". Like, what if it's That Story they want more of? There isn't more of That Story!

True and true

Well, for years I somehow did not have the "send me emails when someone comments" turned on at ff.net, so I didn't respond because I didn't know I was getting comments! But after I got that fixed, I responded a few times, found out that their reply to comments function sucks, and stops bothering.

I do crosspost everything there, because I don't write explicit sex anyway, and I like having redundant backups.

This happens to me, too. And I'm all "Why are you subscribing to a COMPLETED STORY?"

I subscribe to all stories that I like enough to bookmark. Why not? It doesn't hurt anything, it takes no time to do, and maybe they will tack an epilogue on. It does happen once in a blue moon, even with fics marked complete. (What I dearly wish is that AO3 would let you know if a work that was not in a series when you subscribed to it got made part of a series, so you would know a sequel had been written.)

It me. Like, I haven't posted new fic in years. No chance of me going back to old fic any time soon. Like, ever. LOL.

Ugh, it's awful when collabs sink the project. :( Could you throw the art away and forget about it? The death of Arthur killed all my fannish enthusiasm.

Jossing is bad for the fannish juju. At least it is for me. Thanks for sharing recent pics of quilts. I loved the one you gave the married couple. I hope they like it too.
