I've been struggling with the sedoretu fic for 9 months - characters, motivations, inspiration, and plot. And I can't see anyone liking it at the end of it.
Do I want to see the story complete? Yes.
Is it worth writing? I don't know. I'm tired and I'm stressed and people in fandom are shitting me. Sometimes it feels like there's no live-and-let-love anymore; it feels like people can't be happy unless they're making someone else unhappy - taking pleasure in someone else's pain. Which doesn't seem to be the point of fandom at all.
I've avoided Tumblr for the last few months; and I'm probably going to continue to avoid it. There's a point after which engagement becomes detrimental to enjoyment - and I really liked watching WW with pretty much zero spoilers. I think I'd like to do the same for Black Panther.
