Now I can look forward to the days getting shorter, and maybe getting a little more sleep-in instead of being woken by the chickens at 5:30am...

How do they deal with chickens further south where the days are longer, I can't imagine. and at some point, I'm going to want to get a gate with a timer...

Anyway, a bright and happy solstice to those of you who follow the seasons!
