Arguing with someone who has the words "GunGirl" in her Twitter handle about gun control.

They were going off about how vehicular homicide was so much greater, and 'media lies' (fake news!)

In the end, I told them "A++ derailing. Have a nice day."

If she's going to avoid the matters of licencing, training, purpose/use, and frequency of use in ordinary daily urban life regarding cars vs guns, then there's no point. You can't talk logic to someone who's foaming at the mouth.

There really isn't any arguing with those people. They're not rational. That's the problem over here. You really nailed it when you said "foaming at the mouth". They are. They always talk about law enforcement, but cops will tell you that they don't want those guns accessible to the public. They'll argue with cops over what law enforcement want.

They are crazy.

Uh, no. I have a cop who's a neighbour and know a couple of women who are cops, and trust me, they're BLOODY GLAD the public don't have guns.
