An issue which popped up in a program I've been working on (in code that I hadn't changed) turns out to be not something I've done, but a piece of CONFIGURATION that hasn't been updated properly.
It's taken me 8 hours of drilling down, carefully peeling away layers and layers and layers and trying not to lose the thread for this ONE MATERIAL in about 60, and then, if I accidentally skipped it, or missed it, or didn't spot the change, I had to GO BACK AND START AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING.
ONE PIECE OF CONFIGURATION.
The functional specialist was all but accusing me of changing things that I shouldn't have been changing.
Right now, I really feel like I could hit something. In any sense of the verb.
