Finishing off the Plain Jane Passacaglia top while watching GotG2.

FINISHED the top!

Saturday at the working bee: a tumbling compost sifter! o.O

Banana plants next to a compost heap:

She has every square foot of land planted out with something:

Every. Square. Foot. (Except the paths, obvs.)

That curving trellis? Is for growing beans up. She got the bee workers to make it, but if she's anything like me (and yes, she seemed to have very definite ideas about the garden), she probably imagined something perfectly mathematically symmetrical. It's not quite symmetrical but it was the best I could do coming halfway in.
In comparison, my own garden is a bit pathetic:

But my baked mac and cheese game is pretty strong:

TBH. I think I prefer pastabake...

Sunday at the Permaculture Open House
The banana circle:

The pond:

The bower (and me!)

The path up to the intense veggie garden:

Crop Swapping:

--
Sunday night at home
Apple and Rhubarb crumble:

Finally, the borders!
