I wish this functional specialist would tell me the ENTIRE PROCESS of what I’m doing here, in order, with all the little changes we’re making, instead of giving me the little bits and pieces along the way.

I don’t either instinctively know or remember the entire process that we’re going through here, he needs to let me know WHEN things are changing and WHY as well as WHERE. This means that when things don’t seem to be happening the way I expect while testing my developments, I have an idea if this is supposed to happen or not. Right now, I’m changing little tweaks of code and waiting for his approval that it’s correct, because I don’t really know.

Also: it would have been nice to hear that he wanted all the code in a single transportable unit of code TWO WEEKS AGO when I began creating this stuff; I could have put it all in the one thing then. Now I have to go pick everything out, encapsulate it, and test it again.

The lunch delivery service that started up in the area was good to begin with but has quite rapidly gone downhill. I think I'll just go back to half a sandwich down at the deli.

I'm struggling quite a lot to go to Wednesday night bible study these days. I switched bible studies this year (well, the old group folded and switched to a different night, but Wednesday nights still suit me best), and the people in the new group are lovely people but they're not 'of the race that knows Joseph' for me as Miss Cornelia would say.

What's different about the lunch now?

The management's fine. But this particular FS has a habit of being mysterious and superior and only telling me what I need to know. (I've worked with him at other places before this, and he was the same there...)

The lunches were pretty decently sized to start with. they've been getting smaller and more expensive at the same time.

Plus, they kind of used up their social capital with the two months of shoving leaflets in people's faces on the way to work and on the way home...

It is SO hard to struggle with connecting to a faith group when you want one to be a place of enrichment. I'm sorry your Wednesday group isn't providing the spiritual growth and outlet and learning that you need. **hugs**
