My weekend vanished in a blur. They tend to do that lately.

Saturday I set up the quilting frame at a friend's house for quilting one of my show quilts. Not sure how well it's going to go, and maybe this wasn't the quilt to try it on but... It's on there, and we'll see how it all works out.

Sunday was gardening, then hockey, then church.

Monday morning is headache.

Monday evening is gardening meeting.

Tuesday evening will be quilting.

Wednesday evening will be quilting and bible study.

Thursday evening will be concert.

Friday will be going to a Womens' Games Weekend Away, all the way through to Sunday night, which will be hockey.

This week, work is looking piecemeal and complicated. Fandom is unwelcoming. Saleable writing is looking like an impossible pipe-dream. And I didn't hand in my intoabar assignment. Just couldn't find the words and scenario for it.

I had more thoughts, but I can't find the words for them right now.

So five positive things:

1. I am 3 blocks away from finishing the top of the 2nd quilt for the Sydney Quilt Show.

2. It was a surprisingly warm morning today.

3. Every day someone new reads through my Maria/Steve fic and kudoses a whole slew of them.

4. The chickens are still laying - even Hainan chicken - although it's getting very chilly and they're supposed to stop through the winter.

5. Nothing has yet eaten the brassicas I planted out a few days ago, and they seem to be putting down roots and growing.

:hugs: Prayers and blessings as always! It's a lovely thought to do 5 positive things! Mind if I do copycat a bit? (I need to get my brain more positive lately.)

That felt a little pat, but I really do care and pray for you. Just don't have a lot of good words.
