It is Wednesday and I should like the week to be over, thanks. The world may end tomorrow, I give it permission.

My sole entry into the Sydney Quilt Show is 99% done - just needs the rest of the hanging sleeve sewn on, and a label affixed so they know who to send it back to at the end. And a bag to put it in.

So ready to be finished this piece of work. It keeps coming back "it doesn't work in TST and it worked in DEV" usually tends to be data-related. But I find myself wondering if she's actually checked the data. Probably not.

Sometimes I wonder if anyone around here actually eats lunch. I swear there's a guy who just has a stash of cuppa noodles under his desk.

It's raining; this is good for the garden but bad for my emotion.

I think I may have a latex allergy. At least, the backs of my hands have come up in rashes after wearing rubber gloves the other night. The rash has happened before, but I never noticed anything causing it.

Honestly, I'm running out of time on these projects - so many things to do and I'm just burning time like there's no end. At this point, it looks like I'll be taking work home to do on the weekend...

Friday. Ocean's 8. Also, the day I hand in my quilt show entry. Which leaves the 3-day weekend GLORIOUSLY FREE. And I might even manage to persuade my sisters along to O8.

I'm going cruising with three friends from church week after next. It's kind of exciting, I've never been on a cruise before. The other three all married, with kids old enough to leave behind, and husbands who are okay managing the house without them. (Lovely guys, pretty good as husbands go. Still not what I'd consider an inducement.) One is casually into the MCU and I want to have a discussion with her (without overwhelming her with my geeky, which will be the trick), the other two are kind of meh on fannish things, but they're all interesting "older" women, and I look forward to spending time with them!
