It's the Friday night of a long weekend, and I'm headed in to the city for a spot of dinner with a friend before spending the weekend at home (or no further than 5km from it at any point). Last night was a cruise around the harbour - paid for by the company contracting me out - and I got to catch up with a bunch of other employees of the company that I haven't seen since the Christmas work dinner.
To do on the weekend:
- garden
- quilt
- write
- watch Ocean's 8 with sisters
- sleep
Maybe tidy up the study and see if I can't persuade my sister to start shifting furniture around to better use the space we have, because it's all a bit chaotic right now.
It's our last public holiday for four months. The next one is in October. Which kind of sucks, tbh.
I'm practically falling asleep on the train; it's going to be a job to stay awake on the way home!
