I have a Texan friend whose parents have been die-hard Republicans all their lives. They’re voting for O’Rourke this year - the first time either of them have voted Democrat.

That's pretty huge! Here's hoping that they manage to flip Cruz out of his seat...

I have so many issues with that adoption article. The whiff of white evangelical saviorism is pretty strong no matter how he slices it.

In many ways, I think Jen Hatmaker has a much better read on being a white family raising a Black child via in their part of the country and what her part in that means.

And if he hasn't looked at how people in his own neck of the woods long and hard about how they deal with Black people in particular? Then he needs to sit down and take a stadium of seats.
