WE WON!

1-0 in the last 10 minutes. That's some 60 minutes of back and forth with no score, getting it in the circle, but not being able to score, having them get it in the circle and terrified that they'd score--

And then once we scored, it was all damage control, basically marking them the heck out of the game, so they couldn't even it up again and take us into extra time.

After the game, our team and their families went back to the RSL club and had lunch, ate, drank, and chatted with adults and kids alike. It would have been a good day, even without the win, but the win made it better. Division C champs, and so satisfying after the season we've had.

Now there's just the presentation night next weekend.

Oh crap, and I've just realised that I've double-booked myself on the Sunday...

Aahhh... I was going to ask if you were still up for Sunday. We were going to rock up around 10:30, no probs if you can't make it!

Yes, still up for Sunday! I was planning to go early to Elizabeth Farm and stay until lunchtime, then go to sewing group in the afternoon. I would have liked to visit the Bower Parramatta, or the Women's Shed, but...no time.

Oh I get that, but I don't go that way either any more and we live right next to it! Other activities have filled the space pretty quickly.
