TBH, I'm trying not to think too much about the Captain Marvel or A4 trailers, mostly because I've been more or less avoiding MCU fandom for the last year and I think I'm probably going to continue to avoid it. I mean, if I had someone to squee with (or something to squee about) then I would.

Also, I'm starting to grieve my Infinity War fixit with Maria; it's just not going as fast as I needed it to, and tbh all the kerfuffle over the upcoming movies is just going to make me despair.

I am in the state of mind where the weaselbrain is trying to tell me that people are only nice to me because it's socially required, not because they actually like me.

Oh and my period came today (and I was wearing cream trousers. Of course). Which is probably why the weaselbrain has the con.

If it's not period at the wrong time, it's spilling food (and it's always food that stains). There's a reason my "personal aesthetic" has a lot of dark shades in it ...

I have a regular ACME ton weight to drop on the weaselbrain when I realise it's taking over, and that usually stops it for a while...

Oh yes, it's hard work. But also kind of satisfying!

You inspire me to be a bit more imaginative with my balcony. I have some pots, some with flowers and some with herbs, and some chairs. It's useful and nice to be on but I could clearly aim for more!

I think there was an Australian celebrity who did a book on balcony gardens - Indira Naidoo, perhaps? But there are lots of possibilities in balcony gardens!

Wow, I'd only got as far and wondering if I could keep a small worm farm alive! The good thing for plants is my balcony gets a fair bit of sun, but that means there's really no permanently shady spot.

You could grow a vine to make a shady spot. Also, you could maybe hang a piece of cloth (or heshen bag) up to give it some shade?

I stopped watching MCU after someone told me that Steve was really a bad guy. It destroyed everything I felt about it. So, I haven't watched since Winter Soldier and The Avengers movie.

After Tumblr's crash, I think a lot of people are coming back to dreamwidth. It's getting quite busy.

*hugs* My weaselbrain died in menopause. But, I remember very well how it could make me so sad.

I wouldn't mind if my weaselbrain died in menopause. But I've probably got another decade or so before that hits.

Having menopause leads to other issues. But, its not the same for everyone. You need to talk to your older female relatives to get an idea of what your may be like. I've been having hot flashes for about 13 yrs and they are only now starting to taper off. I gained weight for no reason and its as hard as hell to get off. I have friends who had no symptoms at all; just their period stopped. Lucky bi**hes.

It's not always nice, but I understand how you feel.
