modem appears to be fried

Major storm on Saturday afternoon-evening, hundreds of trees down, powerlines down, State Emergency Services running here there and everywhere. There'll be plenty of piles of chip mulch available over the next few weeks, though!

But our modem appears to be fried. Called up the provider (on the VOIP, which is working) but they said it looks like it's connecting, we're just not getting internet.

Right now, I'm piggybacking off my phone data, but that's actually pretty limited, and my sister needs the wifi for her work.

One more cost that we just don't need right now...
