Why are there so many things to do?
Why can I not seem to get any of them done?

sustainable living in cities: The suburbs are spiritual home of overconsumption, but they also hold the key to a better future
faith and politics: Trump Evangelicals may win older people, but they're losing millenials
I can't say how likely/true this is, but it's an interesting thought. I'd like to see millenial Christians value not only the grace of Jesus, but also the practical, active, non-proselytical love that Jesus had for people who didn't care who he was and didn't give a damn about their sinfulness - only that he could heal them, feed them, listen to them.
sustainable farming: Restoring the nutrient density of our crops
A few articles from Medium which I haven't had a chance to read:
UBI: UBI is an inevitable part of our automated future
Democracy: The most pernicious misconception about democracy is that we think we're living in one.
Culture and Advertising: Street artists 'subvertise' corporate adverts.
Culture and Entertainment: Captain Marvel isn't Marvel's answer to Wonder Woman - at least, not yet.
Culture and Entertainment: How to save the DC Superhero movie universe (and how it hasn't been playing to its own strengths)
Culture and Entertainment: The Star Wars' franchise biggest problem is the rose-coloured goggles.
Finally, last week I posted a link to a sermon by Michael Frost about the Song Of Mary (the Magnificat), and today the Common Grace advent reflection neatly dovetails it.

And now it's probably time to knead the sourdough stollen again...
