Excellent! I have those ninjabreadmen cookies, and for reasons I cannot fathom have not yet actually used them. I must watch Bake-Off for biscuit inspiration. It had not occurred to me to use them for crumpets!

But I have made cookies with them. They didn't turn out quite as I expected since the cookie dough swelled when baking. They were still ninjas, just a bit chubby...
Yep. Butter/oil them, then put the cookie cutters in the oiled/buttered frypan (tip: make sure the frypan has a flat surface), and carefully dollop the batter in.
