I'm just...it seems obvious that he's 'stacked' our team in numbers since even teams would be 15-15-15, and it's 15-14-16 - and I can't see Coach2 agreeing to go short, which suggests that either 16 players either aren't good enough or don't want to go up, or he's holding someone back.
There's me and another woman who are clearly capable of playing higher grade, and the other woman deliberately dropped back two grades a couple of years ago and is quite happy to play an easy going game.
...Anyway. I'll play the games he's insisted on. But short of absolute magic happening in Team 3 (and it won't, because what I want is to play with the Team 2 people again), I'll be asking for Team 2 at the end of the 3 week trial period.
And frankly, if I don't get it, then next year, I'll ask NOT to be put in Team 3 unless we get a massive influx of better players. And will keep asking so long as he's coaching.
I feel like you are in need of a chat session with Coach2 prior to making any promises with Coach3.
Obviously, your call.
Also you have been SUPER nice and an AMAZING team player throughout this whole thing and if that hasn't been acknowledged even once, I'm starting to feel that the gloves ought to come off. But again, your call. GOOD GRIEF. THESE PEOPLE.
Oh, I won't be making any promises to Coach 3. Also, he hasn't actually addressed me directly, this came from Coach 2 after she'd spoken to Coach 3, although her initial response when I asked for the transfer was, "I'll talk with Coach 3 and get back to you before Sunday's game".
The teams are fluid for a few weeks, to allow for personality clashes, allowances that someone may have been incorrectly graded, etc.
However, if I end up fixed in Team 3 again, then that bridge is henceforth burned. My 'grading sheet' (which we hand in every year at the start of the season for the coaches/grading team to fill out) will read: "not a team that Coach 3 is playing, or I won't be playing for the club". Frankly, he lost my goodwill when he stacked Team 3.
As I was thinking early this morning: I am 100% a team player. The mistake that most people make is thinking that this makes me a nice person.
