Okay, let's leave cancer off the table.

I'm sorry that you're not able to enjoy team 3. I'm different than you in that I love the "teacher" role, and I find it rewarding to work with others who move up and become better than me. (Happens to me all the time in climbing!)

I hope that you can find some joy in playing at least.
