There's a women in permaculture group on FB which I joined when it started up. It's relatively new, but the creator seems very intent on not just being an FB community of women, but being codified with a set of rules or agreed behaviours, being formally recognised (she wanted to apply for proper club/association status) and a bunch of other things. I don't know why; I just joined because it looked interesting.

But she does about 90% of the posts, and when she was trying to set it up as a formal club, was putting out dozens of posts asking people to be involved. Which, oh honey, no. You may be retired or on the verge of it, but many of the rest of us are busy women; we don't want to add to the chaos of our lives by putting another thing on.

I think it's a problem that she's trying to boss us around when most seem to just want some social interaction with other women who are permaculturists...

Anyway, I’ve thought that with International Permaculture Day coming up in early May, perhaps some people might be willing to post pictures of their gardens? IDK if that will be a bit confronting for people? Sharing something a little more than they’d like? Also possibly outing them to the creator as people who might be willing to do things in the formal club that she'd still like to get out there.
