musical chairs again

I was sitting in the seat of someone who's been away for a couple of weeks. He came back last Thursday, so he sat in the seat of someone else who was on holiday. Someone else came back today.

I have been mailed by my manager that I will be sitting at the desk of a woman who is moving across the office. I think but am not certain that she was told she's moving across the office. What this may mean is that I get to negotiate other people's disappointment in the seating arrangements instead of the manager doing so.

I think I'm tired of being in this position.
