I think I might be becoming lactose and gluten intolerant.

1. What would you do if you won the lottery?

Tithe - Charities/Organisations - 10% minimum. Then pay off debts: mine, sisters, parents/stepbrothers - (but set it up so they pay me back over time with no interest and according to their ability - when they've paid back the amount, they get the amount paid back to them from the money from the investment properties in next step). Maybe a small gift to family and friends. Dump a load in my superannuation fund. Then start investing in property - urban, suburban, and rural according to price and remaining money, land availability and use, property accessibility.

Hm. Maybe tie it all up in some kind of a trust/legal entity.

2. What era do you wish you had lived in?

I'm an unmarried non-white woman past childbearing age. In any other time, place, and culture, I'd be property, a thing, to be used and left on the side of the road like trash. However, I like who I am and I don't want to be white or male and I have never wanted to be anything but what I am.

Therefore, in spite of the extremely accurately named poisoned trash fire of our time with all its political upheaval, I rather like the present time and place. There is no other time, place, or culture in which I am actually considered a person with legal rights exactly as I am right now - and I will take personhood over whatever Rule Of Cool whitewashed, malewashed history gives us. I'm not so sanguine about the future either. Wealthy women in Tang Dynasty China were political and legal entities in and of themselves for about a hundred years, and a couple hundred years later they were property again.

Frankly, the long arm of justice bends wherever whoever has the power is inclined to twist it. And sometimes that's behind Justice's back.

(Although I'd take time back 10 years and start working on people power movements during the Obama years so we could stop 2016 before the world goes headfirst into the shitbucket.)

3. What kind of robot would you want?

Something that could do the housework and was programmable to do it at varying levels: SUPER CLEAN according to the dictates of B1, or 'casual, just give the floor/shelves a light go-over' when things are getting a squidge too dusty.

4. What would you outsource if you could?

Sleeping. I'd pay someone to sleep all day and hand over the sleep to me at the end of it, and SUPERCHARGE and I'm ready to go again! There are quite literally not enough hours in the day. And I am a very bad sleeper. Surely someone else would be better at it?

5. What superpower do you wish you had?

Jamie Madrox's 'multiplicity' ability: basically the ability to make copies of oneself. A second/third pair of hands to help carry things would be incredibly useful, at the least. And not having to explain something to someone else's brain when you're trying to do something all together would be a pleasant change...

I like your responses to the meme. I wouldn't want to live in any other time period. It would suck. And a housework robot would be wonderful.

However, I think I'd want to outsource working for a living. (grin)

I'd outsource going to medical appointments to someone who was better at communicating with doctors than I am.

And who was better at getting doctors to take them seriously than I am.

Which would basically mean someone who was thin and male, given that doctors dismiss women and fat people.
