I like the second one; the flow seems better. :)

I like the second one. It flows better and is not jarring as the first was to me.

The second one seems better balanced somehow; the first picture I was going to say lose either the green with black spots or the grey background with flowers and replace with one of the other existing patterns.

But the second layout is a lot easier on my brain even though it keeps both of those in and seems to work better.

I like the second one more - it makes more... hmm... sense, visually, to me

I like layout 2. Layout 1 has too much going on - I think it would work with fewer patterns, but there are too many that are both too similar and not similar enough.
