So, I don't usually post funny stories about my younger sister B2 (the one who I don't live with but comes to stay every weekend).
But lately she's been getting into the DCCU by way of Justice League and Wonder Woman.
B2 has her obsessions. When she gets into something, she gets into something - binge watches all of it, goes looking for any additional material, makes innumerable jokes about it, tells B1 and myself all about it.
It was Horrible Histories for a great long while, and more recently passed through a spell of Monty Python (she and B1 are both very much Britophiles).
She knows I liked Wonder Woman, I think she might have seen it herself. And she tutors pre-teen boys who LOOOOOOVE superhero movies, so she has to be up on those. And along the way of discussing the differences between Marvel and DC, she somehow got sucked into the JL movie... Although most of what she's been watching up until now is the interviews on YouTube. ALL THE INTERVIEWS AND CLIPS ALL THE TIME.
But...apparently she just went and bought the JL movie. She wanted to buy the Ultimate editions of Wonder Woman and BvS but discovered all the extras are only on the BluRay and she only has an ancient DVD player.

Anyway, I had a good giggle, because in spite of me ranting and raving about the MCU and everything that goes on in it, my sister has somehow ended up in the DCCU which...is perfectly cromulent (I rather like BvS, WW, and JL myself) but it amuses me.
She'll never be in fandom - shared fannishness is not her thing - but she enjoys binging on the media all by herself.
