Redo my screwed-up nails or not? (I did some lovely nails...then went out into the garden and messed it all up.)

It's amazing how many little things you reheat in a microwave. Something went bzzt in ours a couple of weeks ago and we were looking at replacing it, but putting in a capacitor will probably cost as much as a new microwave. B1 has been talking about getting a new microwave, but actually acquiring one (we're looking at secondhand) is another matter, all the more because the space for it is not large and it needs to fit.

I'm re-reading Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series - the late 1990s early 2000s ones: Winds, Oaths, Storms, Owls... Those are probably my favourite ones, just for comfort reads.

I have the feeling that I have something on today which I didn't put in my diary and now can't remember is on.

It's another CATASTROPHIC fire day around here, too. Temps expected up to 45C.

If you have any big garden things planned soon, I'd wait until after that to redo the nails. XD

Yeah, made it through, although the garden didn't. But that was because Hainan Chicken escaped three times and each time laid waste to the garden. *sigh*

How did you guys do?

Oh good, but also oh no!! /o\ At least there's still a garden... I hope?

We were all fine, fire-wise we're lower risk than the rest of Sydney and the hottest part of the day was spent in the inner-west where it was so much cooler.
