Pimp Your Favorite Communities, Fests or Challenges!

This one doesn't take long; I'm not as active as I used to be...

Always Yuletide, both the yearly exchange and the discord group. Great people in the off-season, plenty of assistance during the panicky exchange-season.

I've been lately (in the last six months) posting in gardening with pics of my garden, and am looking to revive the permaculture comm in 2020 because I've been elected president of my permaculture gardening group.

localweather is a reminder that not all the world is on fire like we are here down in Australia, and it showcases a different part of the world to the northern hemispherites.

I don't really follow any fannish communities anymore. I'd be more into personal interests, etc.

Those look great! I wish I could garden but I live in an apartment, and while there's a tiny yard, the landlord won't allow for anything to be planted in it :( I've tried container gardening in the past, but squirrels destroyed everything, so I gave up and just started taking photos of the squirrels instead ;)

Yeah, wildlife is a big factor in the survival of gardens around here.

Look, join gardening anyway; you can always just look at the pictures and see how others' gardens are growing...

Is container gardening a possibility where you are? Pots on the kitchen windowsill?

The family I live with have a raised garden in our tiny back yard, but, it's theirs, ya know? While I can help and pull as many weeds as I want, I don't have a say on what is grown and feel weird just picking things out of it (though, I do go to town on the tomatoes which we usually get massive amounts of).

My dream is to have a lot of land and try to mostly live off of it. *sigh*

It is pretty interesting! Not a lot of posts right now, but every now and then it pops up on my feed (and then usually inspires a bunch of others)...

Oooo gardening. I've been trying to establish a native garden, but it hadn't occurred to me to join comms for it. I might be interested in that permaculture group if you fire it back up too.

DW is not the first place I go to for garden communities, either, but I figure it would be nice to get some slightly different perspectives to my usual FB groups.
