Victoria has lots of new cases, over 50+ on the weekend from community transmission. They're doing a really big push for testing in the target areas. There is, naturally, a lot of racism going around about the 'type' of people who have been doing the community transmission - no thanks to Rupert Murdoch's rags.
NSW has much fewer community transmission cases, but there's a few out there - some in concerning places, such as schools. At least it was a primary school (would have mostly had local students) rather than a high school (where students may be coming from further afield and using public transport to get there).
We are loosening our restrictions, sometimes daily it seems. Small groups can meet in houses (no more than 6 people I think). I believe that our church will be opening back up in July for congregating, but without singing since that's more likely to spread any instances of the virus.
I visited my parents last week - Wednesday, with sisters, and the younger stepbro was there. We had lunch, it was nice to chat, I could talk to mum about issues. Probably not great social distancing.
Walked over to a friend's place on Friday, talked about stuff, kept social distancing.
Sunday had a meeting with the hockey ladies at the RSL. Social distancing was not great.
Today, I swapped a pumpkin for some citrus. Then I came to talk to mum about an issue I've been having, and had lunch. Social distancing was maintained.
Friday I'm going to walk around a bit with a friend, and yes, we will social.
It's nice to see other people again, but I'm pretty wary of crowds and particularly shopping crowds.

Florida has become the new epicenter, and some young idiots throwing block parties have generated 85 new cases in our town of ~150,000.
(sigh)

I am wild with envy. What with Victoria's new cases, we won't be back to church for months.
