I mowed my lawn yesterday.

I don't like the look of it anymore. Instead of a nice lush grass, it's this...short clipped dry-looking thing.

I don't want the lawn. I'd much rather garden beds. Alas, B1 likes the lawn. I have no idea why...

It's been pretty dry here, too. Not sure I'll have to mow this weekend.

Don't forget that lawns can look kind of bleah at this time of year, especially with last year's drought... unless you're one of those people that entirely focuses on their lawn, which neither of us are! It was a sad day when I discovered you do have to put some work in to get the lush grass, but I've settled on doing most of it once a year in early spring.

Can you make B1 mow the lawn if she likes it so much? I know that's easier said than done. XD

I'm finally about to obliterate our tiny front lawn, I'm so excited

She doesn't have the energy to do most housework. I have Buckleys of getting her to mow the lawn.

Actually, I mostly mowed the lawn because I wanted the clippings for the compost... :D
